Notice of Core Tube Material Change for SWRO 8″ Membrane Elements

NanoH2O continuously reviews and improves its products and manufacturing processes to ensure consistent product quality and reliable supply.

As part of these ongoing efforts, the core tube material used in domestically manufactured SWRO 8″ membrane elements will be changed for products shipped from December 1, 2026. This change applies only to SWRO 8″ membrane elements produced at NanoH2O’s Cheongju manufacturing facility and does not apply to BWRO or NF products.

Please note that this change is limited to the core tube material and color and will not affect product performance, specifications, certifications, or product usage. Permeate Flow, Salt Rejection, Product Datasheet specifications, and NSF certification will remain unchanged, and customers may continue to use the products in the same manner as before.

What Is Changing?

  • New core tube material for SWRO 8″ membrane elements
  • Updated core tube color for easier visual identification
  • During the transition period, both current and new core tube versions may be shipped depending on production and inventory availability
  • Requests for a specific core tube version cannot be accommodated

What Is Not Changing?

  • Product performance (Permeate Flow and Salt Rejection)
  • Product specifications and dimensions
  • Product Datasheet specifications
  • NSF certification and other applicable approvals
  • Installation and operating procedures
  • Warranty terms and conditions

Product Compatibility

The current and new core tube versions are fully compatible and may be installed and operated together within the same system without affecting performance or operation.
